I got this response from my other blog post about teeth brushing, wanted to share with y’all:
—————————–
Personally, I think teeth brushing is a rip-off to the customer. I
know that they ask for it, but when we see the dogs AT MOST 1 time
every week or every other week, what we can do with a toothbrush is
not going to make one bit of difference. In order for teeth brushing
to be effective, it needs to be done more often than that. So not
only are you charging the customer for something that may make them
(the owners, not the pets) feel good, but you are also giving them a
false sense of security that they are taking care of their pet’s
dental health. Your clients would be better off if you would explain
this concept to them and sell them something (like Oxyfresh) that
they could do themselves on a more regular basis.
